    Fuel filter

Okay so I need to change my fuel filter. I know fleet guard is the best but what about napa gold? Anyone use them? I'm tired of driving 2.5 hours to get a 20.00 dollar filter. Thanks in advance.

The napa should be fine. I think it's supposed to be 5 micron

I need to correct myself. Fuel should be 3 or 2 micron

Okay so I did some research around some local parts stores the best one I could find was a Baldwin with a 2 to 3 micron nominal with a 5 micron 98.85% effectiveness. Is this a good filter to run? Thanks

Yep! That's what I was suggesting to you. Baldwin is a good product and conservatively rated. Go for it

I was having a popping noise from the motor like an injector pop. I know in the army trucks when you get water in the fuel it will do it. I put the Baldwin pf7977 filter in it and about 5 mins later it went away. The old filter from the dealer was a wix. Very pleased. I will be running the baldwins in my trackers and backhoes from now.
