I’m keeping mine on and just change the filter when required. Matter of fact I have one in the back of my truck waiting to go on when I get the time. LOL

Welcome!! I recommend changing the filter ahead of the schedule in the manual. I changed mine at 65k and it was really saturated. I'm doing the next one after I turn 100k.

Left mine hooked up to the turbo. Replaced the filter at 47K and it was saturated planing on replacing at every 25K from now on.

2014 RAM 3500 (Aisin) 3.73 4X4 Limited Crew Cab Long Bed DRW. Oil Bypass Filter, Fuel Filtration Kit, Cold Air Intake, City Diesel Actuator and 50 Gallon Aux Fuel Tank.
I rerouted mine to the frame with black heater hose, I got a S&B CCV kit and blocked off the turbo.
I used the S&B filter at the end of the heater hose where it attached to my frame.
I used a 90 to put the filter vertical.
If you want pictures I can get them later tonight.

Suction from turbo helps seals rings internally for the motor.
Unless you run an aftermarket charger leave it hooked up and change CCV IMO.
