Well, here starts a new chapter. This is my first Diesel truck and I plan on doing a modern restoration of this truck. It's rough around the edges (looking at the flames).

This is 1998 Dodge Ram 3500 12 Valve 5 speed 4x2. It has 199,098 miles. I am the 3rd owner. I picked it for 7k

From what the previous owner told me:

64mm phatshaft turbo
Stage 3 Injectors
ARP studs
CPP hot street delivery Valves
BD diesel control plate #10
Rebuilt transmission with upgraded input shaft
Twin disk clutch
Aftermarket fuel pump with 1/2inch lines (it was a home made setup, pics to follow)
Fuel tank is in bed of truck
The interior cab has dynamat (everywhere)
It's got air bags over the rear springs, regular on board, but no air goes to bags.

Spare parts, two 10" Polk audio subs, two amplifiers, 1 capacitor, alot of new weather stripping. And other stuff LOL

I'm good with mechanical and suspension work. Doing paint is something I never have done before but it's Gunna be the first items I tackle.

Next will be electrical. The aftermarket wiring on this truck is a nightmare and done poorly. Gunna be soldering like a mad man.

I don't know where this project will lead me....but as Evey other project I've done in the past year, just take it day by day.

I reckon this thing will be completed and fully restored in 1 year.

Hang on tight folks.
