    Re: Injector noise

Running a tuner? Its probably caused by increased timing.

It may be the injector pump you hear. They all do it

The CP3 (Injector pump) develops some lash. Every time an injector fires it clacks. You can fix it, but it will be back in 30,000 miles again. There's a fix for the old 12 valves, but I don't know about anything newer

an injector tick or more sounding valve noise? valves could may need an adjustment, but almost sounds like r having " back-leakage problems." when this occurs, pressure loss generated when excesive fuel is being returned to the tank. Once this happens, the fuel pump cant generate enough pressure to enable the system to operate. "ticking-noise" and pressure generated by the pump is related to the engines revolutions r lower at start and tick over. can u get a vid of ur truck? maybe could help ya a lil bit more. or even maybe a exhaust leak??

For s**** a giggles do a valve adjustment again however run 0.008 intake and 0.018 exhaust it's still safe on daily driver machines. And you might be surprised
