    3.9L Cummins 4BT in an '04 Tahoe

I've been making videos of my Tahoe 4BT build, and it was suggested that you guys might be interested in the progress so far. Let me know what you think!

How does your new combination run? What does it get for fuel economy? Does it run smooth? Is it noisey running on the highway? The important question is does your wife like to drive it also?

there are fins on the front diff. I suspect they are for strength but they could be for cooling. I had to notch 4 or 5 of them to give enough clearance for torque twist. I could still go up if I wanted but that would change the drive angle. I didn't do anything else to make it fit.

The combination is awesome. It purrs along at1750rpm at 90km/hr without the torque converter locking up yet. At highway speeds is 1900 rpm at 120km/hr. love it. Problem is I am not getting much boost so Im looking into it and that will be in the next videos. My wife likes it, but doesn't love it. Mainly because it gets a lot of attention and she doesn't like to be the center of attention. People at gas stations ask her questions she can't answer. Its noisy at the stop signs but you can barely hear it on the road. Conversations levels are normal. That's why I put it in a higher end vehicle though, the Tahoe is insulated pretty good. Fuel economy is much better but I can't pin it down just yet
