Lower drive pressure is about the only thing, but this turbo spools really slow with the VGT unplugged. But yes you do lose all VGT functions.

Also, apparently it pops a code too (it did on my 15) but older trucks don't.

It mostly just sounds like a Cummins should LOL

I have a 2013. Will my ultra erase the code? I'm all about lowering drive pressure. I love my exhaust brake but if it sounds as good as you say I may just unplug it for around town stuff then plug back in when towing.

Do you think Ray could just shut off VGT as well as tune code out? Maybe another sound modifier tune? Would be cool to see a comparison video so we could clearly hear the difference.

It's a 5.9CR or open turbo tune. Ray has it available thru MCC, I shot him an email to see if he could write that for the Ultra but I haven't heard back yet.

I can make a video showing the difference though.

Nice !! I need to seriously detail mine, but i will need to schedule a whole day and wait for better weather. The only thing sucky is after you spend a whole day cleaning/detailing I dont want to drive it for a couple days LOL.

Yep I know exactly what you mean. But I have a truck show to go to tomorrow so I figured I might as well knock this out today. Simple green works wonders....Even my wheel wells are clean (minus a few spots) LOL. Now watch it rain today 😐😐😐😐😐
