    Dash Guages Freaking Out?

My dash lights started going crazy today while driving.

I shut the truck off at home, and now it won't start.

I turn the key over, and the dash starts freaking out again.

I noticed the tuner will not even come on.

The picture is of the lights that are flashing all while driving.

Perform a complete system scan of all modules, and let us know what trouble codes you have.

    Does the engine turn over?

After sitting for a bit, the truck turned over as usual, and I did a DTC scan through my RaceME tuner and got these codes.

After start-up, I noticed the battery voltage said 12v for about 10 seconds, then went to 13v for a few seconds, then 14v for a few seconds, and now back at 13v and holding.

Maybe my alternator is going bad.

Low battery voltage can cause erroneous trouble codes.

I would start with having both batteries load tested.

Once you have ruled out low battery voltage, you must scan the body control module for trouble codes.

See the attached information on U0121.

As said above, check voltage and connections, both positive and check all your grounds.

That said, 1.5 years ago, my 13 started throwing odd codes and the occasional bong.

It would kick on the TPMS light ( it doesn’t have tpms).

    This continued for several months.

It then went crazy with the dash turning off and back on while driving.

It threw almost every light on and off and told me it was ready to start while driving down the road.

It ended up being bad CAN wires to the engine ECM.

    An update on the issue.

I haven't had a chance to fool with the truck much, as work has kept me busy.

When I started the truck, I noticed that the voltage was around 11.5v for about 40 seconds after start-up, then slowly climbed to 14v.

The truck will sit for days at a time without me starting it or moving it.

I'm thinking it's going to be batteries.
