    Fog Lights?

    I have a 2018 RAM 3500 that’s fog lights have stopped working.

I have checked the fuses and do not see any blown fuse, but I have not had a chance to dig any deeper yet.

I'm just reaching out to see if anyone might have a direction to head before I start.

    Have you checked the bulbs?

I know it's an unlikely chance, but both could be blown.

The light in the dash does not come on when you push, but I checked the bulbs.

It seems like a stupid question, but could you have the high beams turned on without knowing?

I'm sure you'd see the high beam indicator turned on, but it's just a thought.

I've had mine turned on and not known just cause I'm focused on something else.

It could be the switch, BCM, CAN, or wiring issue.

    See the information below.

I would start with a full system scan to see what trouble codes are in the BCM.

Front Fog Lamps Control - For vehicles so equipped, the rotary knob on the headlamp switch is depressed to activate or deactivate the optional front fog lamps. The headlamp switch provides the appropriate resistor multiplexed output to the IC over the headlamp/fog lamp switch signal circuit, and the IC reads and responds to this input by sending electronic fog lamp switch status messages to the Body Control Module (BCM) over the Controller Area Network (CAN) data bus. The BCM responds by energizing or de-energizing the right and left front fog lamp control circuits through internal High Side Drivers (HSD) and by sending an electronic confirmation message back to the IC, which controls the front fog lamp indicator as appropriate.

    Thanks for all the help.

I am not sure what the computer saw or did not, but it must have been having a freak-out moment.

I went home, rechecked the bulbs and connections, and everything worked suddenly.

So, once again, thank you all for jumping in and trying to help.

    Thanks for the update.

It could have been a loose contact, and moving the wires could have fixed the issue.
