Amplifier / Sub Wiring?

I was just gifted a 10 JL sub and amp.

I have not wired a sub in a vehicle since we used to buy cd decks.

I have a Bighorn with 8.4 unconnected non-NAV and a six-speaker system.

Is there an adapter to wire it?

I'm good with wiring if I know what I'm doing.

Any help would be appreciated.

I responded to your question in the other thread before seeing this one.

I hope this helps.

The line output converter does exactly what the name implies.

It converts line level (speaker level) signal to low level (preamp level) signal.

Wiring is super simple, connect your truck speaker wires to the input side of the LOC and connect your sub amp with RCA cables on the output side.

Easy peasy.

Quality units will also provide a remote wire hookup that will tell the amp when to turn on or off based on if a sound signal is present.

This is nice because it saves you from finding a switched circuit to tap.
