2021 RAM 2500 Tuning / Using The Doctor?

So I know there's a lot of information, and as a new member, I'm filtering through a lot.

I read on another forum that won't name names or who posted, but it follows this.

I don't know anyone running it but it absolutely will ruin the after treatment exhaust at an accelerated rate over the factory tune.

Adding fuel to make power = increased soot the DPF has to deal with = more active Regens = worse fuel economy, longer sustained high EGT temps which taxes the engine, engine oil, turbo, cooling system while towing, etc.

You will also tax the SCR catalyst more by having to deal with more NOX, more DEF consumption, etc.

DRD recommends not adding the emissions compliant tunes to trucks with over 50k miles, I feel that comment is very telling.

Personally I'd either go full deletes or just leave as is.

The emissions compliant tunes really aren't doing the whole package any "favors" so to speak.

So I'm curious as to what everyone else has to say about it, not the first time I have read this either just the one I came across last.

A little advice would be great as I feel it needs some more in the tow category compared to my power jokes.

Which I had tuned intakes and turbo mods, so that's not what I'm saying. I'm just used to a little more pedal!

So the things mentioned above are true?

This is why people want access to things before they pay for them; just saying!

Had I known, for one, that it was an almost 2k tuner and, for two, that you shouldn't do it to emissions trucks, I wouldn't have paid a hundred bucks to participate in this forum.

I get it; it's all helpful, but I got the info I needed from a free website, but only after the whole mess.

    So what's a full-flow kit cost?

A friend, you can run the emissions as people who had it on their truck have gone over 100K with the stock exhaust.

You can do the emissions, and then once the stock exhaust clogs, change it out for a free-flowing exhaust.

Super simple, and you get the same thing done.

    Thank you,

Ok, then these tunes also allow me to run with a free-flowing exhaust?

What is required to do once that happens?

Is it a new tune I must buy, or is it as simple as changing out the dirty ******* pus to a free-flowing one?

You would then need to be retuned for deleted tuning and free-flowing exhaust.

    Thank you,
