I was told by several shops that they have figured out the emissions systems on these 19+ Trucks (and anything post-2016) to the point that they will last at least 350k miles without worry.
I was told that DPF filters may still need to be cleaned at some point, but other than that, they aren't causing engine failures, and that fuel economy is back from the 5.9L standard rail days (I can say for a fact I see 22+mpg on the highway in my 2500 (empty).
I was wondering if this is b.s. or not.
I am not looking to make a faster truck, as I want a hard-working/reliable truck.
I noticed that the truck wants to go in Regens a little more frequently since it got colder out.
I was wondering what everyone's experience has been.
I know the 07 trucks had a crap ton of issues.
It would be nice to keep the factory warranty, but it would be nicer not to need to use it to begin with.
