2500 RAM Factory Air Ride Exhaust?

Does anyone have a pic of what all needed to be modified to fit 5" FLO~PRO around the factory airbags?

I don't see much point in going 5" if I'll need to hammer part of it, likely causing more restriction than just going 4".

Mine is from 2016, but pics of other years are likely similar.

The 5" exhaust will fit, but you must hammer it a little to make it fit.

5” sounds awesome, but will you also have to remove the heat shield.

I’ll have to look again, but I know it shields the spare not sure about the airbag.

Thanks, Caram; any way you could post a pic or two of the tight spot by the heat shield?

Would 4" have made enough difference not to need to be modified in that spot?

I have a 2016 2500 with factory air ride (Kelderman bags) and a 4" exhaust.

I went with the 4" because of clearance and used a DEI exhaust heat shield.

    The 1' x 6" size works perfectly.

    Cool, thanks.

These are the details I was hoping for!

Pic helps me figure out which way I'll go for exhaust options.

What made you go to Kelderman for bags?

And is the rest of your air system factory?

The Kelderman bags offer more travel/adjustability and a bit more flex than the factory ones. My truck was a factory coil truck to start. I went to the Kelderman bags because of a friend's experience with them. He had a full factory air set up on his 2016 and was not happy with it, especially offroad. Now I get it; you aren't getting much flex in these trucks with bags, but there is a significant improvement. From factory coils to bags, night and day difference. Worth every penny, with no negatives, in my opinion. I am running an airlift 74000EZ for the air system. It's perfect if all you want to do is fill the bags.
Anything more, and you will need to go a different route. You can see in the pic where I have it mounted. You can use factory rivet nuts on the cross-frame piece to mount the compressor unit.

Someone post a factory 4” with an air bag setup.

I won’t get to my truck until Saturday, or I’ll post it with my hi-tech setup, LOL.
