North Carolina - Deleted?

Moving over to North Carolina, how are they with deleted vehicles.

I know they require inspections, but I wondered if there is a way around them being gone.

It’s going to be the western side closer to Tennessee.

Any information helps.

I live on the western side, and in my county, they only require a safety inspection for diesels but require emissions and safety inspection on gas vehicles.

How are they when you take it in being deleted?

I’m looking around the Asheville area.

I lived on Bragg prior and never had an issue.

I used to take mine to a delete-friendly dealership just outside of Asheville.

Unfortunately, they decided to leave under FCA and their strict regulations and now only sell used vehicles.

I haven’t used a dealership in a couple of years, so I can’t say how the dealership in Asheville is when it comes to being deleted.

I am not worried about the dealer, just more looking at places to get the inspection done for the truck.

Worse case, I’ll plate it in another state and bypass all the issues.

Buncombe County, where Asheville is, only does safety inspections on diesels, not visual.

There are plenty of small inspection stations that you shouldn’t have any issues getting inspected.

Living there is very expensive, and like other cities with a large population, the homeless camps and crime are up, especially in Asheville.

Yeah, I only used that as that was the largest city in the area.

I’m going to be between Asheville and the Johnson City area.

You definitely would be better off living outside of Asheville.

Asheville has become such a cesspool.
