    First Gen squeal.

I have a massive annoying squeal in the front of my truck. It does it just going down the road but doesnt get louder with speed. I checked the front brakes but they dont look bad at all. maybe wheel bearing? If so how do you did into the Dana 60 and brakes to fix it. I cant stand not driving my truck. Please help!

Can you put it up in the air at all to check it?

I would do that, but be super careful.

the thing about that I found once, I swore the noise was coming from the front of my truck, as did my mechanic, from the test drive, we got it in the air only to find it was the rear wheel bearings. Our only logical explanation is that the noise traveled up the frame. That said, check all 4 wheels.

I agree check all 4 wheels. sound travels in these trucks for some reason. you can have a problem in the front and its sounds like its coming from under the door its weird.

Belts squeal, alternators squeal, surprised pigs squeal, men tied to trees may be asked to squeal like a pig (old movie you only see once) Can you narrow it down a bit more.
