    Cooper Rugged Trek Question

I just got a set of Cooper Rugged Trek 35x12.50r20 installed yesterday and they aired the rears to 75-80 and the fronts 65-70.

The truck itself feels a little squirrelly on the side to side, is this because of the pressure?

I don't recall my old Mickey Thompson's being aired up that much.

    Anyone have experience?

    Running a 2500 Megacab.

To add to this, the door sticker does say 65 front, 80 rear.

Are you absolutely sure about these pressures?

My 2014 3500 is just the opposite and makes sense with the weight of the engine over the front tires.

I will have to check to confirm when my wife gets home with the truck.

It might be backward, but I'll have to confirm.

Your rears are 65psi because you have a dually, for single rear tires if the tire is rated appropriately, 80psi is for max load.

    Absolutely correct, thanks!

His tire pressure was just the opposite of mine, so at first glance, without thinking I was surprised.

What does the sidewall on the tire say for air pressure?

The door sticker is for the factory tires that came on the truck.

Keep in mind the 80psi is the max when cold.

I would air mine up to that when I tow or haul anything heavy.

I run mine 65 on the front and 60 rear.

It wears excellent and rides a little smoother.

I keep a little more air in the front because there is much more weight than in the rear.
