Turbo Replacement?

Hey guys,

So I got the P003A code on my 2015.

I took it to my mechanic, replacing the actuator with a @Geno's Garage.

Unfortunately, it did not fix the problem, and it looks like the turbo is bad because the actuator was installed. I am not able to return it.

Here is my question; should I try and sell the actuator and get my $900 back and go purchase an aftermarket turbo, or should I pick up a city diesel turbo with no actuator and use Geno's Garage actuator?

I'm looking at the aftermarket turbo is ATS 3000 (I'm in CA).

The cost will be about the same if I go with ATS or City Diesel.

What are everyone's thoughts?

My thought and recommendation would be to install the City Diesel actuator on a City Diesel turbo.

I'd sell the actuator and do a drop in VGT Cheetah or 3rd or 2nd Gen swap.
