Smeding CNC Valve Cover Issue - Oil Everywhere!

I installed my Smeding CNC valve cover and hooked up a catch can do it, but oil went everywhere.

I have to spend a weekend cleaning it now.

What did I do wrong?

Where does the 2nd outlet that points to the driver's side need to go to?

I plugged it thinking my catch can do the rest, and this happened.
