So my fuel gauge doesn't work, and I ran out of fuel about two months ago.

I was able to get the engine primed and running while on the side of the road.

The truck ran fine for the first 5 or 6 miles, but after that, it started to run like crap the next 10ish miles.

Once home, I shut it off and tried to start it, but it would start again.

I had to re-prime again, and I let it idle for a few hours, no issues idling,

So I tried to drive it, and it broke down less than a mile away. I ran home and pulled it home with my forklift.

I have been fighting this issue for months now.

It will idle for hours and hours, but it will not drive.

I thought the issue was fixed because I drove it for about 100 miles, and it ran perfectly, but today it broke down again.

So far, I have replaced the filter, put an electronic fuel pump on it, and purchased a fuel pressure gauge but have not put it on yet.

In my defense, it came in after the truck started running fine.

The truck will be driving fine, and all of a sudden, it will start to shudder and will not accelerate anymore.

Any ideas on what could be the issue?

What should I try next?
