I have a 2018 5500 C&C 6.7 Cummims with the Aisin transmission.

I stated in a previous post that I went through a bunch of issues with different tuners and finally got fixed up by DRD.

The truck is all around 90 percent better except my intake Temps are climbing to what I think is very high. 220 even saw 238 the other day.

I changed the sensor and thought the issue was fixed, running around 120-140 degrees getting on it in around town.

I hopped on the highway and held 70 mph with nine psi of boost, and the truck starts climbing, kicking the fan on and off.

With the new sensor, it'll hit 215; the truck will kick the fan on, gets down to 130 140, then 20 seconds later back up over 200.

What's a suitable manifold temperature?

Any ideas as to what's causing this?

I'm planning on pressure washing the CAC and de sooting the intake.

Will soot cause these issues?

Any help is greatly appreciated.
