2014 RAM 2500 - Do I Need To Replace My Injector?

I was installing head studs on my 6.7L Cummins yesterday and noticed that a piece on my injector is missing.

Its the plastic piece between the two studs where the harness connects.

Will this affect the injector and do I need to replace it.

I circled the piece in the photo.

Is it broke completely off?

No, if it’s just the black plastic piece in between the two studs it’s fine.

Seen quite a few broken In that area and even broken one or two myself.

Its basically smooth between the two terminals and wasn't there when I took the valve cover off.

I've never opened the valve cover until yesterday so I'm assuming someone else has before I purchased the truck.
