Ok guys so I just found out I have the mounts for the "5th shock" from the crossmember to the axle.
Just curious who runs one.
Mine is missing.
I'm assuming it's cuz I'm lifted and they don't make a longer one for lifted applications.
Any info on this?

No its a 5th shock in the rear.
I think only on coil spring and rear air ride trucks.
Goes from the frame/crossmember to the top of the rear diff.
I've never even heard of it, but not sure why you'd want one.

This was done on the old SRT rams for axle wrap under heavy acceleration.
I’ve never heard of the Cummins having one but it’d be pretty cool I suppose.

It's standard on the manual transmission trucks.
Must help dampen the forces between shifts.
