My truck is going in for a new clutch in a week: South Bend twin disc full-organic.

(No, I am not an organic-only hippie, but I do admittedly enjoy the occasional bowl of granola).

While it's apart I am asking the shop to install a Tork-Shield girdle from LazarSmith.

Anyone have any experience with them?

I hope I'm doing my truck a favor for long-term reliability.

It's bone-stock (for now) but we tow heavy (15k+) nearly 100% of the time.

The shop also suggested they drain out the ATF and over-fill with Mobil Delvac at the same time.

I gave them the go-ahead for that as well.
