Any of you 4th Gen owners with 2nd Gen turbo swaps running open filter elements?

Are you having any issues with your filter getting wet/waterlogged while driving in the rain?

The reason I ask is that the inlet behind the grill for the Ram Active Air box is wide open once you remove the air box.

Also, the rubber weather strip under the front lip of the hood stops at the edge of the grill, leaving a gap between the hood and headlight.

Rain water definitely makes its way into the engine bay.

I've noticed after driving in heavy rain, or following traffic that's kicking up a lot of "road mist" that the front edge of my battery tray is wet, and also the top of the airbox.

I'm curious how much water would get pulled through an open filter and into the turbo.
