I have a 2011 which has EGR/DPF delete.

I plugged in a couple different OBDII readers and they both show code P040D Exhaust Gas Recirculation Temperature Sensor A circuit high and its listed as "permanent" meaning I cannot clear it with the readers.

The tuner does not show this code nor is there a check engine light.

It was suggested to me by the company I purchased the tuner from that either I left something plugged in or should try to reinstall the tune.

I can assure you nothing was left plugged in and I went through it a couple times just to make sure.

I reinstalled the tune and this did not correct the situation.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated because here in CA I cannot have those codes popping up.

My next thought was to bring the tuning back to stock and then re-install the tune? I did not do this when I did the re-install.

Could there be a problem with the tuner?
