    Opinions on Fluid Dampener/Clutch Rattle

    Greeting everyone!!!

I wanted to start this and get some opinions on my thoughts to see if this may work.

I have a 2018 RAM 2500 4X4 and installed the Valair duel Disk Quiet clutch.

Now don't get me wrong this is much quieter clutch than others I have heard, but with the harmonics at idle, would a fluid dampener help the chatter at idle?

There are a few good products out there that would do the job but really curious what everyone thought before I bought a $600 part.

They do help. I ran them on a 97 and 07 with south bend dual disc clutches.

Wow I've not thought about one of these in years!

I've known of a few to use them with a dual disc back when 3rd Gen 5.9's we're still selling brand new.

They did state there was a reduction is noises after install.

Since technology has evolved and you have a "quiet version", idk how much it'd help you.

It may get very very close to stock noise levels or you may only see a minimal decrease in noise.

It's certainly not going to hurt anything to try if the dual disc bothers you that bad.

Sorry I couldn't provide a more hands on or exact science answer but if you'd like to order one and find out for yourself just let me or Mike know and we'll get you fixed up.

    Thank you & God bless.
