I think the flexing varies alot from tire to tire.

What does your door sticker say for tire pressure?

As far as I know pressure ratings are always "cold". You should never set pressure when tires are warm/hot.
My cold pressures on my 2500 are 65 on my 5th gen vs the 80psi on my 4th gen 2500.
And correct, always set pressures on cold tires.

But my Toyo MTs & AT2s were ran at 55/60 with the TPMS adjusted to keep the light off. Those tires were not 80psi rated.

The 3500 5th gens are 80 front and 65 rear.

But that all depends on what tires. I see with the toyo mt's you can get 65 max and 80 max ones.

Biggest thing when towing is knowing how much weight you got and realize the tire rating is at the max rated pressure.

For example when I was towing my horse trailer that has a 3k tongue weight I really had to watch out with tire pressure and ratings when towing with a single wheel. Now thats why I have a dually. Slightly less to worry about.

    2021 2500 68RFE..... I'll just keep the goodies a secret!!!

Just curious? What Height is your ball before hooked up?

My Raptor triple axle was around 8 K empty. I always set up a couple inches lower at my ball height around 18-20" before hooked up.

It drops about a inch or so loaded. Tracts a little better. Just had to order a new Drop hitch.

My 3rd Gen i sold is around 3" lower than my 4th Gen , Got a 8" drop now to bring it back down to where it was ..Never had sway last trip was 7400 hundred miles in 30 days.

Like too see a picture of your rig hooked up, Picture is worth a thousand words.
