    In Cab Drone Question

    2018 long bed

Just got my DRD Lite tuning done.

EGR delete, Jamo 5", 30" FTE resonator.

I'm wondering why I'm getting a really loud drone in the cab while in drive at a stop only, or in park.

Everything is super quiet while driving. Too quite with the 30" resonator.

While in park I'm sitting at 690- 700 rpm and if I raise the RPM just 20-30 rpm it goes away.

What's the best way to combat this?

    It's very annoying.

    Thanks. Korey

    This is all the time!
I'm noticing it's any time the RPM's drop to 698-710 which is an idle.
Would be nice to adjust the idle up 10 rpm. That'd fix my problem.

Is it possible that your exhaust is vibrating against a cross member?

Start it and get out a try to pinpoint where it's coming from, engine area? Under the cab area? Bed area?

My 5" Jamo rubbed under the cab and had similar symptoms. I had to get the down pipe just right to get it to fit with no rub.

    Re: In cab drone question

So after rechecking everything, connections, exhaust clamps, clearances, ect I had my wife sit in the truck while I push on different areas of the exhaust and at the end I found the vibration to be the worst and makes the most noise in the cab.

I still have yet to add a tip but is there a way to secure it at the end a little better?
I'm guessing just add a hanger near the end would reduce the vibration some.
