Anybody know what the U29 recall involves on the 68RFE transmission. Is it just for 2016 2500s? Taking my truck to dealer next week to have it done. Heard is was a module replacement, also read it was a part inside trans that requires dropping pan.
Any inforamtion would be greatly appreciated.

Just had my truck done few weeks back. They drop the pan to replace the solenoid pack and do a quick relearn. Worked out good for me since my trans pan was starting to leak.Originally Posted by Gratefuldenglish
