    Transmission cooler/torque converter cooler

    Hello Everyone.

It's my first time posting in a long time.

I have a 05 2500 with a 5.9 Cummins. I have a built transmission, and I'm looking to clean up the engine bay. I don't do any extreme towing or long distance driving. I'm installing an aftermarket transmission cooler on my truck. I've been watching Youtube videos and reading a lot of forum post, and I unsure if this recommended. I was looking to remove the stock transmission cooler and the dreaded torque converter cooler. I recently purchased a Derale trans cooler. Does anyone have any advice and maybe some pictures of there deleted TC cooler and the fittings that will be needed to do this?

    Thanks

I deleted my factory heat exchanger with the kit Fleece sells and then had my Derale aftermarket transmission cooler mounted under the bed between the frame rails. My factory cooler behind the radiator was leaking so I swapped it out with a new OEM one from Ram. Now, even when I'm hot lapping at the track transmission temp rarely goes above 195* and stays right at 168* during normal driving.
