a lot going on this week

There's a lot of things changing this week for me

I'm closing on a 2nd house Friday. Needed more acreage for my horses. Having more land is always good. Working on finding a buyer for my house I have right now
I decided last night to list the mega cab for sale. Just posted in on Craigslist to see if anyone would be interested. I love the truck and has great miles on it. I'm just thinking it may be time to go another route again. I've had this one longer than any previous vehicle almost 2 years. Looking at Fords again. And as much as I don't care for Duramax I'm actually looking at them a little. Mainly for the Allison and Eaton drivetrain. Along with the fact that after being a few years old they can be bought dirt cheap compared to Cummins or Powerstrokes

My 08 F350 was much smoother hauling than my 09 Cummins. Just a better ride the way it was set up. Even being a heavy dually
If I go the route of a Powerstroke again I may go a little newer and opt for the 6.7 this time. Just miss the old 7.3 but the mileage is better now at least. Still not the same as it was though

That's a lot in a short period of time. Your mind must be running 180 mph when at rest. Haven't done that since my late 40's early 50's.

Moving is hard, especially when you have to coordinate selling a house when buying one. Best of luck to you bud.

It's going pretty smooth luckily. I'm buying without having to sell mine first so that helps some. Still want to sell ASAP. Don't want to carry 2 mortgages longer than I need to
I'm 36 using my VA certificate for the new house

I've never been fond of Duramax except the drivetrain

My 99 7.3 obviously was a freight train but had plenty of power
The 08 F350 compared to my 09 Cummins. There's things I like better about each truck. The Ford pulled much better and ride was a lot nicer even though it was a dually. I don't really care for how they use solenoids for everything in the transmission
The Dodge has so much more room being a mega cab. If there was more tuning support available it might help some. The lack of no transmission tuning for these years sucks

My 08 Powerstroke I pulled a broke down semi loaded with corn 32ft trailer. It's transmission was locked in gear

I'm not comfortable doing that with the Cummins and 68
