Finally got all the pieces of the puzzle together today and was able to get rid of the quads and get some projectors in with a Morimoto 35w HID kit to boot. Very happy with how it turned out.
Highly recommend this mod to anyone unhappy with the OEM stuff.

I did 35w as well. 5500 k I think. I kept reading that the 55w bulbs burnt out faster.

Yeah they do but they pump out some good light. I did the 55w on an FXR retro o did a few years back.
