I have spent a lot of time doing research and this site always comes up #1. So...I decided to join and hopefully gain more insight into everything. It is amusing seeing some of the posts on certain subjects and it will continue to be that way.
I grew up Dodge in my family, so it was only proper to continue through the years. I retired from the Army last year, sold the house, all my useless junk I had accumulated over time, bought a 5th wheel and an awesome truck. Now, we travel around working for a company as subcontractors at car shows and fairs. The wife and I love it but sometimes we miss the house...and I my garage.
Now, onto Big Booty Betty...She's a 2014 Laramie CC DRW.3.73.68. As of two days ago all my emissions junk fell off. EGR/Throttle valve/CCV/DPF delete. I went with the Flo Pro 5" TBE, unfortunately in need of a resonator now. Also have the Raceme ultra for kickin it. Gutted the baffle from the turbo because, well, why not. , took my time, double checkin everything. Spent years building and working on my own vehicles so I was confident enough.The only issue I had was when I was done, had everything goin but no cruise and abs light. Well, it seems I damaged the abs sensor wire on the right rear when I dropped the old exhaust out. Fixed it today and good to go.Did this in her dad's driveway. I loved Betty before but now she breathes easier and I am thoroughly enjoying no more dead pedal. No issues yet beside the drone. Wife gives me a hard time about how loud she is outside,ehhh. Oh well. I'm not standing outside when I'm driving. Not towing I run it on the 120 with default. Towing i will run on 60 and see what happens. probably will get warp once my account recovers. We shall see.
If anyone has any advice,tips,general info they care to share with this in their experience, I would appreciate it.
