    Blow-by

I have a lot of blow by when my truck is warmed up, it's bad enough for me to see it come out of my truck at idle while sitting in driver's seat. Is there anything i can check or due to reduce it. 2007 5.9, injectors, cold air intake, 4" turbo back exhaust, grid heater delete, smarty jr set to tow, I know I should have some but it seems excessive. Also 318000 miles. I don't know how to post videos or pictures on the site. Thank you in advance for any help, it will be greatly appreciated

    Re: Blow-by

I believe it to be from the turbo forcing air into the oil, I have about.017 inches of up and down play. The compressor wheel gets to about.002 inches from the housing. If I push it down and try turning it it will bind up really bad to the point that I can't turn it

Choo Choo out of oil cap and out of breather tube under truck. Drips a little bit of oil out of tube but not losing a lot of oil

    Re: Blow-by

Hey so you have blowby issues take it from me seeing how I bought my truck 2 years ago and it had the same blowby as yours get the motor rebuilt my engine had #1 piston ring land failure which caused the 2nd and oil rings to be relocated into the oil pan it scratched the cylinder wall up so bad the machine shop had no choice but to sleeve the block. I did an article on it you may be able to see the pics still I believed it’s titled hang in I’ll be back

It’s titled New to this site and to Cummins and also. What caused this cylinder wall damage go read up And may as well read Its rebuild time a few lessons to learn. Oh and the cause of piston failure and the blowby is a messed up fuel injector that’s what caused all of it trust me
