Revmax valve body is it worth it?

Trying to decide what direction to go here. I'm running the MM3 with tunes by Ray "awesome setup and great customer service" I have a 4" flo-pro and the egr deleted from HPP. Nothing crazy for mods as you can see, looking at getting the GDP Mega-Flo S3, grid heater delete and the CCV breather kit.

I know at some point I'll need to get ARP headstuds. Big issues is figuring out which to go with, no planning to run huge power at all so I've been leaning towards the 425 over the 625, $600 bucks is a huge difference .

As far as transmission is concerned what should I look at doing to protect my 68RFE? Is the revmax valve body a good starting point? And if so would I need to replace my solenoid pack?

I'm all over the place, sorry guys . Any info and help would be great. Thank you

In my opinion revmax makes some very good transmissions and valve body’s. I don’t think you would be disappointed.

From what I see they are ahead of quite a few big ticket people in trans world. The shop I deal with around here use nothing but revmax stuff. And some of these trucks are high hp!!

Valve body is a great starting point. Solenoid is a good idea but not required. It’s pretty typical to do them together.

Lots of guys here run Rev Max stuff. I've heard nothing but good reviews. Go with 625's and be done with it. 425's need to be retorqued after a few heat cycles. I know 2 guys locally that popped their heads using 425's!
