I’ve had those clamps fail on me before. Rust built up under the clamp and split the sheet metal. Everything is stainless besides the 2 half moon bolt guides in the clamp. They will rust and cause a failure.

I painted mine with that KBS Rust Seal. Not a spot of rust. I painted the exhaust with it too, not intentionally with the spray gun. That's still on there too.

I think AFE makes a really sweet turbo resonator. No restrictions. It's about 3 feet long and 6" diameter. My truck sounds like a car when towing now. There's 2 of them. I forget who made the larger one. I think it was AFE. It's been 3 years and I love it. Never have to touch that radio. The smaller one was OK, but the longer one blew the doors of that. The large one is what I reccomend. When you see it, you'll know there is no restrictions.
I like it quiet.

I want that wife , but i installed the muffler ,,, liked it even more
I just finished a full delete of my 16 Ram 3500 mega cab. I went with a 4” turbo back w/o muffler and I think it just about perfect. Between sounding like it has some serious Ball and not offend the wife.
