Blinding Longhorn chrome center console bezel

I need to do this so badly, I have the silver and gray interior. Even the ram on the steering wheel gets me, I was thinking about scuffing it all with steel wool just to knock it all down. Wondering if tinting would help at all so I may wait until I do tint the windows.

Tinting won’t help one bit. I’ve got 6.5% tint all the way around even have a brow on my truck.

Sun still manages to find the bezel just perfect to blind me.

The best thing to do is like our friend here did. Paint it and add some cool looks to the bezel.

Ram should have leather wrapped the bezel I think.

Would have looked cool that way.

I know a guy that does alot of air brushing and he is constantly showing me his faux wood jobs on stuff like 49 ford panel trucks, Maybe I can have him do faux wood in either ebony or a weathered gray and the matte clear coat. From what I've seen online wrapping the big trim piece around the radio section can be quite involved from all the bends and relief details.

That's a interesting idea. I still like leather though

May be a matching color with barbed wire painted on for the Longhorn..
I think I will look into that
