    Been saying it for years. Diesel electric is the most efficient, but the cry babies don't like the smell. @F350Cummins and I were kicking it around. Finding the right Genset was a problem. we were going to grab a 2500 junker and retro fit it. Time and money

    S & B intake, BD Intercooler, Pusher Air Horn, MM3 Double R Tuning, Turbo Timer, electric Flex-a-lite fans, FASS 95,
    50 HP tips, upgrade to 351 turbo, 3.42 gears, Twin air compressors, air bags, Remote dual oil filters, Hellwig sway bar, Front Winch. Home made Fuel Heater, BD Exhaust brake with Torque Lock. Tons of TLC

    I am tempted to. Need to find a motor, and I would commit my diesel Genset to it

    General Electric has been perfecting the diesel electric for 70 years now it’s a proven system.

    Yessir they have. Even those engines are electronic now

    Ironically it was hearing that 2012 was going to be the last year without this DEF crap that made be pull the trigger on my truck. Well, among many other things... But the DEF was my excuse!!
