Welcome and congratulations!!! If you bought it from a dealer then he shouldn't of sold it to you with a CEL activated. Have him get that fixed for you.

Gotcha. Yeah, if the dealer got it cleared up then that's all you can ask for.
Back on the high idle thing... Its normal for it to cycle up and then back down several minutes later once the engine temp threshold is reached.
