Egt probe ?

Hey guy!
i have the raceme ultra on 13 ram 2500 I have the sinister diesel egr delete installed I just got the raceme egt probe and want to ask few questions before I install it forgive my ignorance still learning. So on the egr delete kit there's a block off plate with a plug in the middle of it for egt probe on the rear of the manifold. Is this a good location or the probe? Also I've read that you want the probe stuck in half way, (this probe is a 90 degree bend and about 1 1/2 from end to half the threads) true half inside?

That is where I put mine and I think most do too. Mine probe is straight and I stuck it in about 1/2"

Yes sir works fine. That's where I put mine as well as others. This topic will definitely bring up some different opinions. Some good knowledge as well.
