Raceme Ultra - What values SHOULD I be watching?

Hello all; new member here and basically new to the awesome world of cummins diesel performance. So, I've had my raceme ultra tuner installed for sometime now on my '15 with warp tuning from Ray at DoubleRDiesel. I couldn't be any
happier with how the truck is performing at the moment.

Question: just curious what the knowledgeable think I should be monitoring on my tuner screen?

For those that are running a raceme ultra set-up, how do you have your parameters/gauges set up?
    Thanks & good day.
    -Buck

Hey bud! Welcome to our family!

Thank you for joining and supporting this forum!

Some of the main gauges you should always have pulled up in my opinion are,

EGT's, boost pressure, fuel pressure, trans temp, engine coolant temp.

Those are definitely some main ones to put on there if you don't already.

I like watching torque converter lock up especially when towing heavy.

I usually watch get, boost, trans temp and rail pressure. With my 17 my race me is set to egt, load %, ambient temp and fan speed. Mostly useless but truck has boost and engine coolant from the factory

I monitor boost, throttle percentage, torque convertor slip, trans gear, fuel rail pressure actual, and trans temp. Just installed revmax valve body, ultra low torque convertor and billet flexplate.

What parameters are considered normal range for y'alls aforementioned pulled up gauges? (Sorry for reviving a dead horse here.)

There are some people who push their truck harder then others and will go up around 1400-1500 but only for short bursts. Anything longer then a few seconds could potentially cause damage. Heck if you have a weak link in the system then it could cause damage on the way to that threshold LOL.

I like to play it safe and once it starts pushing past 1300 start eyeing it pretty hard and sometimes even let out of it depending what im doing. If im towing heavy ill try to keep it there depending on the grade im going up. If im empty i try to let out of it to keep the truck happy LOL.

Most people driving around see 800-1000 and when you get on it moderately not heavily you will see 1,100-1200 easily.
