Under what conditions does the smoke occur? Just driving? Heavy Acceleration? Moderate or normal accel? Only while towing, etc?
    Thanks

Moderate and towing...heavy acceleration I expect to have some but just cruising.and slight accel she will sometimes push a lot of black...Temps are around 500 to 600 degrees feusl pressure between 32 and 38 psi.

Have you monitored boost pressure during the malfunction event? If you can, watch boost while function is normal under similar driving conditions, and then again while the smoke problem is occurring.

Well.it did a short burst af black...LOL..boost was at 18 psi..fuel pressure was around 35 psi and egt was around 700..not overly concerned but just more curious now as y this old girl would do this..she has roughly 476.000 km on the clock..posibility of injector clogging up..this was under slight load on level ground..input would be appreciated

It is difficulty to say - we could run the injectors across the pop tester someday if you have time to pull them out so we can see if there are any evident abnormalities. That is probably the best place to start. If nothing is found there, we may be looking at something abnormal happening with timing advance under certain conditions.
