Now is a good time to install you boost tube. I upgraded tothe 3.5” with new boots. Leave it a little loose. This will help during install of the intake.
Make sure you clean the power coat/paint off of onecorner if you’re running a grid heater. This ground is critical to theoperation of the grid heater.
Install the intake/grid heater assembly to the intake plenumwith a new gasket.
LEAVE THIS INJECTOR LINE A LITTLE LOOSE OR YOU WILL HATE YOUR LIFE!
This will give you enough clearance to fit the intake in and align the gasket.
Tighten all the bolts & install the boost tube.
Attach the grid heater wire, reconnect all the wiring andinstall the new bracket for the dipstick.
Now I removed all the EGR cooler stuff. I won’t go intodetail on this because there are a lot of great videos on YouTube that show howthis is done. I did drill and tap a port in the rear plate for my EGT probe.
Install the block off plates(with new gaskets), EGT probe and swap out the factory hose connection for the new one. I had the heat up the manifold to get this loose.
I cut a few inches off each end of the new hose andinstalled it to the new fittings.
