    Drive shaft u-joints

    How in the heck do you get them out far enough to get the caps off!

    You have the retainers out right?

    Try some heat. Not too much

    We need to know what year

    It doesn't have clips on top of the caps. Just a rubber like gasket around the bottom of the cap.

    On my 06 I had some plastic Nipple looking thinks holding caps in. Just melt them with some heat and hit them out. The new ones should have clips.
