I get mine done through Amsoil. You order a sample kit and put some oil in a little container and mail it to the lab. Usually get results back in a week or two.

I go through BlackStone. I installed a Fomoto drain valve in my pan, and when I want a sample, drain a couple oz of oil to clean the tube, then fill the sample bottle. Usually a couple oz is all they need. BlackStone and Amsoil will supply the sample container since they want them to stay sterile.

Don't know of Amsoil, but sample bottle kits are free from BlackStone. and when you send in the sample, you send in your check. Check out both websites to see which way you want to go.

I do know with BlackStone, I compared a sample they did for me on my first one and compare it to the Refinery lab report, and they were the same. (I retired form an oil refinery but had contacts while working)

Oil samples are great, they tell you what is actually happening 'IN' your engine.

Got mine from NUC Motorsports ( http://www.nucmotorsports.com/dodgeparts.html ) years ago.
And my Dear Lord ... I noticed the prices went way up.

But we did one for my friends Ford 6.0 with parts from NAPA and scrap metal at 1/2 of what I spent back then.

Opps .. I use Amsoil by pass filters.

Yea, I've looked at the NUC kit and I like the braided SS hoses. But I've sent several emails to them that have yet to be answered. I figure if you can't answer my email, you ain't getting my $$
