I have a 2007.5 3500 6.7. Today it started a squeaking noise coming from what I think is the universal. I got under it and checked to see if they were loose, they wasn't. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

grease them and tell us what happens. also do you have, and if so did you check the carrier bearing?

how about the carrier bearing? How can you determine the sound is coming from a u-joint?

maybe check hanger bearing. Which u joint is the suspected squeeker?
Well I thought it might've been the muffler bearing but it's straight piped! LOL

If there's no carrier bearing, look for rust around the inside of the yoke at the cups. Are you sure it's not a brake squeeking?

I'm positive it's not the brakes. I laid beside the truck n had my wife pull up n back and I heard the noise coming from the ujoint
