Don't quote me I may have done it correctly but for my LOC I think I only pulled signal from one door, meaning spliced pos and neg together and ran it from one side. Could this be the root cause?

The JBL you just mentioned is only 550 @ 2ohm
Depending how you're wired you're getting (rated)
370 @ 4ohm
Or overloaded @ 1ohm and probably clipping the amp
550 per sub?

550 total so 225 each with proper coils. With your subs you can't get a 2ohm load. Unless you only run 1
You'll get a 4ohm or 1ohm final load with what you have
I've never seen real world testing or numbers with that amp to know if it's under or over rated for power. From what I can find about it I don't think it can be run safely at 1ohm. At least as a daily system. For burps maybe it would be fine
Just stopped at an audio shop in the area he went over everything we tried 2 ohms we tried 2 different 1500 watt amps at 1 ohm. It's disgusting. He noticed my ground wasnt the best but with us switching amps we should have been able to hear a difference getting distortion with Barley any gain.

The best way to ground. I always go through the body and ground directly to the frame. Grind it to bare metal and use a stainless steel bolt. Then use a good rust preventative paint over it
Most shops will just use one of the bolts for seats or similar body mount inside the vehicle. They do ok but don't provide the best contact
Alright. Amp for door speakers will be here today. Some question to be asked:
Are the front doors and tweeters crossed over, making them one connection. Running a new LOC. Was going to splice into my factory wires and run them back behind the rear seats where the LOC and the amp will go, then run new wires back to the speakers. My other option....just found out my amp (fosgate) has high level inputs. Splicing/soldering them together and running them right to the amp then out to the speakers.

Most likely they are ran together on each side ya
