    @Thake618 I attached a piece of 1\2 inch thick plywood to the back wall with liquid nails and then screwed the amp to the wood.

    Yep. Been there like 3 years like that and hasn't moved an inch. If you check around on the audio forums its been a fairly common practice for many years. And way better than drilling holes I to the back of the cab.

    I agree with the liquid nails/board. I cut a small piece and mounted my last amp with spacers to allow air flow. Worked perfect.

    As for your wiring and speaker/amp combo questions I always say this: it’s tough to explain wiring and pairing online or in conversation. You gotta really understand how each piece works. If you’re not sure it’d be easier to pay a shop (reputable) to wire it up and tune it. Worst thing I see is midwired amps and subs with the bass boost and gain cranked all the way up. Good luck with it.
