I am new to diesel so please excuse me if i dont seem as knowledgeable as most of you. I recently had a cel come on and got the code read and it was p040d. Now i have a 2011 2500 which has egr delete afe intake horn and 5inch tubo back exaust. Now i dont understand whats going on here. If someone could help shed some light on my issue it would be greatly appreciated.
Do you have a tuner or programmer on the truck

No tuner yet. Planning on one soon though.
I found that part out just dont know how to fix it.
I'm not so sure but I think some thing have to be disabled with a tuner before EGR delete is done

Ive had it for a year but was done before i bought it so not entirely sure
