Ok... My truck 16 2500 4x4 long bed limited.

I'm in the market for a rivited pocket style flare & these days with many options I don't want to rule any out without just cause.

In shopping it's hard to find pics of fender flares installed on 4th gen Cummins.

Please post pics and honest comments of likes and dislikes.

I'm interested in Stampede (like the way they meet at front bumper without notch)

True edge (the only one available painted my color max steel)

    Egr

    Lund

    Fleabay made in China cheapies

(Have heard both good and bad)

I've previously always been loyal to bushwacker. Have owned several trucks with them.

So I'm very familiar with them but think there overpriced.

So please help a brother out and show them if you got them!

    Thank-you

Flares can make that rig look even better.

But remember to take them off once in a while to clean and wax behind them.

They have seals and usually tight fitting.

They can still get dirt and water behind then which can cause rust or discoloration of the paint.

Mine are Bushwhackers which I used the black bolt kit instead of the originally supplied chrome bolts so that it would match the trim on my truck.

This is the third set I have bought for different trucks and have always been very pleased with them.

The fender flares will rub into the paint over time. Dust dirt will get behind the seals.

You can get a good quality 3m vinyl in sheets, same as the stuff used in quality decals, etc.

Put the flare on enough to trace the outline with a dry erase marker.

Pull the flare and shape the vinyl to cover the curve down the fender lip.

It's extra protection and should last longer, not exposed to UV rays.

Some companies sell pre-cut vinyl kits, but they are too much money.
