    12v p-pump timing

I have 94 2500 that I use for daily driving as my Welding rig and I would like a little more power and am exploring different mods one of which is bumping the timing what are y'all's opinions on this and I'd so how much advance would you recommend

    Thanks!

    Re: 12v p-pump timing

I had a 12 valve that I took it to a shop that had a dyno and he was able to get 100hp just from that.

    Basically turned the star wheel.
Slid the afc forward if I'm not mistaken.
Grinded down the fuel plate. Some people take it out completely depending on the truck.
You can also tighten the stock springs just a few clicks.
Also adjust the timing a little bit as well. Some people go from 15-18° . All depends on the truck and what not as every truck is different.

In doing all of this. Make sure you have all necessary gauges.
    Such as
    Egt
    Boost
    Fuel pressure

In doing these mods, you will receive great power and better mpg!

As long as you drive right and watch your gauges you shouldn't have any issues.

Even my stock transmission lasted years like this until I was able to upgrade it.

I hope this somewhat helps!!! If ya have any more questions let me know!
